'Historical day' of Dan Lai Pu Mat people

For decades, the planning of Pu Mat National Park has invisibly been like a "golden hoop" covering the land of the Dan Lai people in Bung and Co Phat villages of Mon Son commune, causing many difficulties for them in building their lives. This sad situation has ended since July 5, 2025, after a long period of involvement of all levels and sectors of Nghe An province.

The images capture beautiful and touching moments during the inspection trip of the house building program for poor Dan Lai ethnic households in Co Phat and Bung villages, Mon Son commune by Nghe An provincial leaders. The delegation presented 455 land use right certificates to the people of the two villages after more than 600 years of the village being formed in the core area of Pu Mat National Park.
Crossing the forest and braving the rain to build 73 houses for the Dan Lai people before August 15

With just over a month left until the peak flood season, a "race" against time is taking place in the core zone of Pu Mat National Park (Nghe An). Border guards, local authorities and construction units are working hard to overcome all difficulties in terrain and weather to complete 73 solid houses, helping the Dan Lai people have a safe and stable place to live.
