Comrade Dinh Viet Hong inspects flood control work in Cua Lo.

(Baonghean.vn) -Given the complex developments of Typhoon No. 6, on the afternoon of August 7th, Mr. Dinh Viet Hong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, inspected flood and storm prevention efforts in Cua Lo.

After inspecting flood and storm prevention work at Border Guard Squadron 2 and Cua Hoi Fishing Port, the inspection team held a working session with the Flood and Storm Prevention Command of Cua Lo town.

According to the report from the town's Flood and Storm Control Command, Cua Lo has so far inspected and assessed the current state of irrigation works in the area, implemented urgent measures to proactively prevent and control floods and storms, and assigned each member to be in charge of each ward to coordinate and promptly address the consequences. The town also proactively organized 24/7 duty when heavy rain and storms occur, assigning departments, agencies, and wards to prepare plans and concentrate all resources to effectively implement the "four on-the-spot" principle.

On behalf of the inspection team, Comrade Dinh Viet Hong highly appreciated the efforts of the Flood and Storm Prevention and Control Command of Cua Lo town, and at the same time requested the Flood and Storm Prevention and Control Command of the town to focus on directing and accelerating the management of irrigation works and critical traffic points to have measures to handle when natural disasters occur, promptly and effectively khắc phục in all situations, in order to reduce damage to people and property for the people.
