In particular, at the meeting, voter Tho Chong Lau, head of Huoi Vieng village, Dooc May commune, reflected that currently, children in the village, after finishing school, cannot find jobs because they lack the money to "bribe" their way in. Mr. Lau stated that there is information suggesting that one needs 80-90 million VND to secure a job, and many people whose children have finished school only have 30-40 million VND, so they dare not apply for jobs.
Responding to voters' concerns, Mr. Bui Tram, Chairman of the Ky Son District People's Committee, affirmed that there is absolutely no such thing as paying bribes to secure jobs in Ky Son district. People should not give money to brokers to avoid losing it unnecessarily. The recruitment process is transparent throughout the district, with applications being reviewed objectively by the District Party Committee Standing Committee and the recruitment council. There is absolutely no bribery involved.

Mr. Tram stated that during the recent recruitment drive, a resident of Muong Xen town complained to the Chairman of the Ky Son District People's Committee that he had paid 80 million VND to a district official, but his child was still not recruited. Immediately, the Ky Son District People's Committee launched an investigation and discovered that the person had indeed given 80 million VND to a "broker." In reality, the accused district official was completely unaware that the "broker" was using his name to receive the money.
After clarifying the allegations of job-fixing, the Ky Son District People's Committee decided to accept the child of the person involved to encourage people to actively report any irregularities they discover in the recruitment process. "The recruitment of officials, teachers, and candidates for government-sponsored positions are all conducted objectively by the district," Mr. Tram affirmed.
