In Dien Chau, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the Home for Martyrs’ Relatives. Currently, the unit has 13 officers and employees taking care of 29 martyrs’ relatives in especially difficult circumstances.
Towards the 70th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2017), on the morning of July 17, a working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee led by Comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to a number of policy families in Dien Chau and Nghi Loc districts. |
After listening to the unit's report on its functions and tasks in the past time, comrade Le Xuan Dai - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The unit needs to promote the achieved results, perform better the assigned tasks, be worthy of the trust of the province and the people, and take care of those who have suffered many disadvantages and made great sacrifices in the two long-lasting resistance wars of the nation.

Next, the delegation visited 2/4 war invalid, Vuong Dinh Cu, 89 years old, 65 years old in the Party, who participated in two resistance wars against France and America in Dien Cat commune and was infected with toxic chemicals; visited and presented gifts to Mrs. Tran Thi Lan - wife of martyr Cao Viet Bo in Dien Thinh commune who sacrificed his life in the resistance war against America to save the country.

In Nghi Loc district, the delegation visited and presented gifts to the relatives of martyrs: Mr. Nguyen Dinh Lien, 95 years old, in hamlet 7, Nghi Long commune, father of martyr Nguyen Dinh Tuat, who died in the resistance war against the US to save the country, and Mrs. Dang Thi Nghi, 85 years old, in hamlet 17, Nghi Thuan commune, mother of martyr Tran Ngoc U, who died in the resistance war against the US to save the country.

Talking with kindness and asking about the health of the families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Xuan Dai expressed the gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of the province for the sacrifices and losses of the families for the independence of the Fatherland.
Affirming that the Party, State and authorities at all levels always remember the merits and sacrifices of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, and martyrs' families, and pay specific attention and gratitude through policies and strategies that contribute to encouraging and supporting families to overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
