Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh: "Dedicate all your mind and effort to building Nghe An to develop"

Nghe An Newspaper excerpts the speech of comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh at the ceremony to receive the decision to appoint him as Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee on April 16.

"...I am very honored and moved to be entrusted by the Politburo with the task of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for the 2015-2020 term, succeeding comrade Ho Duc Phoc, who was recently elected by the National Assembly to hold the position of State Auditor General. Born in Nghe An, I always wish to contribute the most to the development of my homeland.

From this moment on, it is not only my wish but also my responsibility to the Party, government and people of Nghe An. Leading a province with the largest area in the country, a large population, the homeland of beloved President Ho Chi Minh, a land of spiritual and talented people, rich in revolutionary tradition is an extremely great challenge.

I will try to devote all my mind and strength, quickly integrate with the collective to complete the assigned tasks, together with the entire political system and the people of the province to make Nghe An increasingly develop in all aspects, stabilize politics, and improve people's lives.

Promoting the revolutionary tradition of the Soviet homeland, promoting the potential advantages of nature and people, under the leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, Nghe An has achieved many important achievements in recent years.

I am fortunate to inherit and continue the achievements of comrade Ho Duc Phoc and previous leaders, with all my intelligence, enthusiasm and responsibility for my homeland Nghe An that I have worked hard to build. Together with the provincial leadership, I will strive to fulfill the wishes that you have entrusted to me.

I would like to respectfully thank Comrade Pham Minh Chinh - Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission for his assignment speech as well as Comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Party Central Committee member, State Auditor General, former Provincial Party Secretary for his responsible and emotional messages.

I pledge to absolutely comply with the leadership of the Central Committee and the Politburo, inherit the revolutionary tradition of my homeland and the achievements of previous generations of leaders to build a united, unanimous, and unanimous leadership collective, successfully implementing the Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress and the 18th Nghe An Provincial Party Congress, and Resolution 26 of the Politburo.

The leaders of the Central Organizing Committee presented the appointment decisions to comrade Ho Duc Phoc and comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh.

I really wish to do many useful things for my homeland, together with my comrades, continue to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party organization, develop Nghe An in the direction of industrialization and modernization, and become a center of finance, trade, tourism, culture, education, and high-tech science of the North Central region.

Building a homeland with a synchronous and modern infrastructure system, improving the material and spiritual life of the people; having an advanced culture, imbued with Nghe An identity; solid national defense and security, ensuring social order and safety, and a strong political system. That is the responsibility of our collective, of me personally, and at the same time, the wish, request, and aspiration of the people of Nghe An.

And to complete the task, I earnestly and sincerely hope to receive the attention and direction of the Central Government, the coordination of all sectors and levels, the contributions of veteran revolutionary comrades, party members, intellectuals, and especially the great strength of intelligence, love and responsibility for the homeland of the children of Nghe An inside and outside the province.

On this occasion, I would like to warmly congratulate and wish comrade Ho Duc Phoc - a dedicated and responsible leader with many contributions to his homeland Nghe An - to successfully fulfill the new responsibility assigned by the Party and State.
