After 7 years of establishment, Vietnam - Germany University has trained over 1,400 students and trainees with 4 bachelor's programs and 7 master's programs. The school is receiving support from the Association of more than 30 German universities across the federal state through providing training programs and professors teaching at the school. The entire program is taught in English; during the study process, students also learn German in parallel.

In the period 2015 - 2021, Vietnam - Germany University will deploy training in 6 majors: Telecommunications Electronics, Mechanics, Construction - Architecture, Environmental and Processing Engineering, Economics and Management, and Computer Science.
