Comrade Nguyen Van Huong re-elected Secretary of the Party Committee of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital
The Party Executive Committee of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital for the 2025-2030 term consists of 15 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Van Huong - Director of the Hospital was re-elected as Party Secretary.
On the morning of May 20, the Party Committee of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital held the 28th Congress of Delegates, term 2025 - 2030.
Attending the Congress were leaders of the Department of Health, Vinh City Party Committee; and 236 official delegates.
In the 2020 - 2025 term, despite many difficulties and challenges, especially the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, with the drastic and comprehensive direction of the Ministry of Health, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Health, Vinh City Party Committee, and the consensus of party members, civil servants, and employees, Nghe An General Hospital has developed strongly in terms of expertise, the number of patients has increased, and the quality of medical examination and treatment has been improved.
Party building work has been taken care of, the Party's leadership role continues to be affirmed. The Party Committee of Nghe An General Hospital has well implemented policies on cadres, party members, and internal political protection. The direction and management of the Party Committee has many innovations.
Every year, the Party Committee of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital is recognized and highly appreciated by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Department of Health. 34/34 targets for the term have been achieved and exceeded. This is an important premise to create a solid position and strength for the development of the Hospital Party Committee in the coming term.
Entering the 2025 - 2030 term, the Hospital Party Committee aims to improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee, build a strong Party Committee, Hospital and organizations and unions; strive to become a special-class hospital, meeting the standards of a practical university hospital.
Some targets of the Party Committee of Nghe An General Friendship Hospital for the term 2025 - 2030:
Increase the number of inpatient beds to 2,000 beds; achieve 510,649 medical examinations/year; achieve 167,084 inpatients/year; achieve an average inpatient treatment day of 8 days.
Performed 35,083 medium and major surgeries/year (of which, 95% were central-level techniques, 30% were laparoscopic surgeries); mortality rate decreased to 0.06%/year; referral rate was below 1.0%.
Regarding the development of new, specialized, and cutting-edge techniques, the Hospital focuses on perfecting stem cell transplantation; deploying routine Robot technology in surgical specialties... The Hospital's quality will reach 4.3 by 2030; Patient satisfaction index will remain above 95%.
During the 2025-2030 term, the Hospital strives to ensure the organizational structure and personnel of a special-class Hospital and the next phase of the Financial Autonomy Project; establish Nghe An Cardiovascular Hospital on the basis of developing the Cardiovascular Center; establish a Tropical Hospital on the basis of developing the Tropical Disease Center.
Regarding Party building work, the Hospital Party Committee sets the annual target of completing tasks well or better (of which, 1-2 years of completing tasks excellently); 100% of Party cells completing tasks well or better (of which, 20% completing tasks excellently), 100% of Party members completing and completing tasks well or better (of which, 20% completing tasks excellently); striving to admit 150-160 Party members during the term.
Within the framework of the Congress, delegates elected the Party Executive Committee of Nghe An General Hospital for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 15 comrades. Comrade Nguyen Van Huong - Director of the Hospital was re-elected as Party Secretary, Comrade Trinh Xuan Nam - Deputy Director of the Hospital was re-elected as Deputy Party Secretary./.
