Comrade Thai Thanh Quy enjoys the great solidarity festival in Thanh Thinh commune
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 14, comrade Thai Thanh Quy, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, came to celebrate the great solidarity festival with the people of hamlet 1B, Thanh Thinh commune, Thanh Chuong district.
Also attending were representatives of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, leaders of Thanh Chuong district and many people of hamlet 1B.

At the ceremony, delegates and residents of Hamlet 1B together reviewed the glorious history of 86 years of building and growing of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; summarized one year of implementing the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" of the hamlet and launched the emulation movement in 2017.

Hamlet 1B is located in the mountainous commune of Thanh Thinh, Thanh Chuong district. Currently, the whole hamlet has 147 households with 601 people. In recent years, promoting the spirit of solidarity, the people here have enthusiastically participated in economic development, together escaping poverty sustainably. Currently, in the hamlet, there are 13 households that are good at production and business and 35 households that are well-off, with the average income of the whole hamlet reaching over 30 million VND/person/year. The average poverty rate has decreased sharply, in 2016 there were only 11 poor households, accounting for 7.4% of the hamlet's population.

Along with efforts to develop the economy, the people here are also active in building a cultural life with 93.8% of families achieving cultural titles in the past year. Regarding the implementation of the national target program on new rural construction, from 2013 to now, the whole village has supported more than 7,000 m2Land to build 15 km of rural roads, contributed labor days to dig and fill 4 km of intra-field roads, the total amount of money contributed by the people reached over 2.9 billion VND.

In the exciting atmosphere of the festival, comrade Thai Thanh Quy expressed his joy at the achievements that the people of Hamlet 1B have strived to achieve in the past time. In particular, in the field of production, they have boldly applied science and technology when building 9 fresh tea bud processing workshops with a processing output of more than 5 thousand tons, bringing in an income of nearly 2.5 billion VND per year and solving the problem of over 70 local workers.
In the coming time, he hopes that the people of Hamlet 1B will continue to promote the tradition of patriotic emulation, build mass movements, actively participate in maintaining security and order, and preventing social evils. From there, they will constantly enhance the spirit of solidarity to build local movements together, contributing to improving material and spiritual life./.
