At the voter meeting, the issues that many voters were concerned about and proposed were related to the fields of urban order and environmental pollution, such as continuing to carry out site clearance for households on Le Duan - Nguyen Du street, site clearance for 4 households within the construction boundary on Phong Dinh Cang street, ensuring clear roads and sidewalks; taking measures to strictly handle the situation of cars stopping and parking on roadsides and sidewalks, affecting urban security and order; roads such as Le Thanh Tong, Nguyen Vinh Loc, Nguyen Duc Dat, Hoang Thi Loan, Ly Nhat Quang are deteriorating, there is no lighting, poor drainage system, flooding when it rains, causing environmental pollution.

Voters also suggested that the province plan Ben Thuy market into a wholesale market and commercial center, contributing to the construction of a civilized and modern urban landscape.... It is necessary to rectify the phenomenon of hanging colored light bulbs and decorative lights, affecting the growth and development of trees in many areas and roads of the city. Pay attention to controlling the environmental pollution caused by Hoang Thi Loan Textile Company and Vinh Plastic Packaging Company....

Mr. Nguyen Trong Mau - voter of block 8 proposed that the province should pay attention to ensuring conditions to ensure urban order and civilization in the city.

Voter Tran Thi Huong requested the State to pay attention to the lives and activities of Youth Volunteers in especially difficult circumstances.

Mr. Nguyen Van Lien, a voter of block 7, suggested that the province needs to have a mechanism for block and hamlet cadres.

In addition to the above issues, voters also recommended that the province should urge and soon have a final conclusion on the settlement of the petition of the members of the Ben Thuy Loading and Unloading Cooperative; need to check and have a resolute attitude in withdrawing projects that are past the implementation deadline and projects that are not feasible. There are solutions to improve the quality of the staff, and at the same time, there is a mechanism to handle the staff who make mistakes during the performance of their duties. In addition, many voters also suggested that the province should pay attention to the working conditions and regimes for the staff of the block and hamlet; the regime of Youth Volunteers, people infected with Agent Orange...

After listening to 15 voters' proposals and reflections on 45 issues at the conference, comrade Tran Hong Chau acknowledged the enthusiastic and responsible opinions of the delegates, and explained a number of issues under the province's authority; accepted a content to continue to consider, research, and resolve, meeting the voters' wishes. Comrade Tran Hong Chau also informed voters about the socio-economic development, national defense and security situation in the province in the first 6 months of the year, tasks and solutions for the last 6 months of 2015; informed voters about a number of programs and contents that will be discussed, debated and decided at the 14th session of the Provincial People's Council, term XVI, 2011 - 2016, scheduled to be held in mid-July.
