(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, January 19th, Comrade Tran Van Hang - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Member of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly, and Chairman of the National Assembly's Foreign Affairs Committee - presented Tet gifts to families entitled to preferential policies in Quy Chau district.

The recipient of the gift is Mrs. Le Thi Phien (from Viet Huong village, Chau Hoi commune), the wife of a fallen soldier. Mrs. Phien is 70 years old this year. Three years ago, she received a solidarity house built for her by local authorities and agencies. Currently, she lives alone, and her two daughters live far away and are unable to care for her, so her family is in a very difficult situation.

This year, she is over 80 years old and in poor health, currently living with her youngest daughter. The gifts are a great source of encouragement for families of war veterans and martyrs facing difficult circumstances.

Comrade Tran Van Hang also extended New Year greetings to the People's Council and People's Committee of Quy Chau district, and presented the Standing Committee of the People's Council of Quy Chau district with a computer set for professional work. He conveyed New Year wishes to all officials and people of Quy Chau district and expressed his hope that the Party Committee and people of the district would continue to build on the achievements and achieve many more successes in the new year.
