Earthquake in Indonesia: Latest information on 10 Vietnamese students

Ten Vietnamese students in Palu, Indonesia - a place heavily affected by recent earthquakes and tsunamis - have just landed safely at the airport in Makassar city.
The Hercules military transport plane arrived on the morning of October 1 and was surrounded by people. They flooded the runway and rushed onto the plane.
The Air Force has temporarily decided not to deploy aircraft from Makassar to Palu and vice versa.
Previously, the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia said it was actively and urgently implementing a plan to bring Vietnamese students in Palu city out of the city and back to the capital Jakarta.
The Vietnamese Embassy has sent a diplomatic note to Indonesian authorities. Ambassador Pham Vinh Quang has contacted the Deputy Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Indonesia's relief coordination agency) to request assistance.
