Thief gets beaten up after breaking into a house.

(Baonghean.vn) -Taking advantage of the homeowner's absence, two thieves broke in and stole 17.3 million VND from a cupboard. Upon being discovered, residents surrounded and beat the two thieves until they fainted.

At approximately 2 PM yesterday, August 18th, two thieves broke into the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong (50 years old, residing in Hamlet 1A, Dien Trung Commune, Dien Chau District) and stole valuables. Several residents happened to notice them, shouted for help, and together they surrounded the thieves. The thieves jumped onto a motorbike and sped away, but were surrounded from all sides. The two thieves abandoned their motorbike and tried to escape on foot, but were too surrounded, so they returned to pick up stones to fight back and break free. One resident suffered a head injury. Outraged by the thieves' resistance, the residents subdued and beat the two men until they fainted.

Two people are currently receiving emergency treatment at Dien Chau Hospital.

The police from Dien Trung commune and Dien Chau district arrived at the scene and took the two suspects to Dien Chau district hospital for emergency treatment in a coma.

According to the two ID cards left at the scene, the two suspects are Truong Van Chung (22 years old, residing in Phu My, Binh Dinh) and Truong Van Canh (22 years old, residing in Phu Thien, Phu Thien town, Gia Lai), and the motorbike has license plate number 81D1 – 02.091.

The homeowner whose house was burglarized said that 17.3 million VND was stolen.
The case is currently being investigated by the Dien Chau District Police.
