Arsenal's superb performance, the commendable efforts of the Vietnamese national team, and the enthusiasm of over 40,000 spectators created a "grand feast" at My Dinh Stadium last evening. A celebration that quenched the thirst for top-class football among Vietnamese fans...

AN UNPRECEDENTED NIGHT OF FESTIVAL AT MY DINH

Ten years after its inauguration, My Dinh Stadium finally welcomed so many world-renowned players and coaches. Coach Arsene Wenger, and stars like Walcott, Chamberlain, Arteta, Wilshere, and Podolski... acted like a giant magnet, drawing all the attention of Vietnamese fans. The 40,000 seats seemed too small, and therefore, everyone present at My Dinh Stadium enjoyed a football feast of a lifetime. With their superior class, Arsenal deployed their signature style of short passes, intelligent through balls, and powerful speed, which has become their global trademark.

In the 6th minute, the London team's top-class performance was showcased with a spectacular goal when Rosicky passed the ball, Giroud broke free and finished with his left foot, the ball hitting the post before flying into the Vietnamese net. And in the final 3 minutes of the first half, Giroud completed his hat-trick with a shot into the top corner and a skillful chip shot as goalkeeper Hong Son rushed out.

The sublime performance continued in the second half as manager Wenger brought on a number of highly anticipated players, most notably Walcott and Wilshere. Walcott delivered a superb pass to Chamberlain on the very first pass, making it 4-0. In the remaining minutes, Akpom scored twice, Miquel netted Arsenal's seventh goal, and all the goals were works of art.

THE VIETNAM NATIONAL TEAM IS ALSO A “RUNNING MAN”

Our boys in red are certainly not a worthy match for Arsenal, but that doesn't mean surrender. On the contrary, Coach Hoang Van Phuc's players created situations that made over 40,000 fans cheer with pride. First, Thanh Luong's clever and powerful tackle brought Podolski to the ground. In the 27th minute, Cong Vinh had the first shot on goal against Arsenal, and that ignited a glimmer of hope for the Vietnamese national team.

The 79th minute of the match will be a historic moment, a time of pride and overwhelming joy, as the Vietnamese national team scores a goal. It's the familiar combination play on the right wing; Quang Hung delivers a dangerous cross, and Manh Dung takes a difficult shot, sending the ball straight into the Arsenal net – a situation that even manager Wenger admitted he was astonished by.

Vietnam national team lost 1-7And this is perhaps the only time we've lost, yet the fans are still so happy and proud. And this historic match, like the rain at the end of the game, cooled the hearts of Vietnamese fans. After the match, Coach Wenger admitted that the Vietnamese team were also "Running men" - meaning people who never give up on their goals, like the young man who ran after the Arsenal bus for 5km. This was also the first time the French "Professor" saw a team that had lost 0-7 still continue to play with belief and succeed - something the Indonesian All-Stars team couldn't do.

Thank you Arsenal for the fantastic performance, for the special moments, and see you again!

Van Phong becomes goalkeeper out of necessity.
In the final minutes, substitute goalkeeper Buu Ngoc was shown a red card by the referee for blocking Wilshere's dribble outside the penalty area. With no one left in goal, coach Hoang Van Phuc had no choice but to let Van Phong (pictured below - right) take the gloves. In the short time remaining, this makeshift goalkeeper prevented any further goals from being scored.

- Arsenal: Giroud (6', 44' & 45'), Chamberlain (47'), Akpom (55', 60'), Miquel (75').
