Vietnam national team squad announced: Many key players absent, many new recruits called up.

Coach Toshiya Miura has announced the list of 24 players called up to the national team in preparation for the friendly match against Myanmar on July 2nd.

Trong Hoang is one of the key players of the national team.

According to this coach's viewpoint, the selected players must be those currently in top form for their clubs. Because of this, alongside players who have been considered key figures in the national team recently, such as Van Quyet, Trong Hoang, Van Hoan, Cong Vinh, Thanh Luong, Van Bien, Minh Chau, etc., Coach Toshiya Miura also places his trust in many outstanding young players like Que Ngoc Hai, Vo Huy Toan, Hoang Minh Tam, and Nguyen Huy Cuong.

Also prioritizing form over fame, Coach Miura did not give opportunities to three current stars of Vietnamese football: Mac Hong Quan, Duong Hong Son, and Huynh Quoc Anh. These players are not currently in good form.

According to the plan, the national team will begin assembling on June 25th in Binh Duong. Coach Toshiya Miura and his team will have nearly a week to train and assemble the squad in preparation for the match against the Myanmar national team, which will take place at Binh Duong Stadium on the afternoon of July 2nd.
