Vietnam national football team drops sharply in FIFA rankings
Without playing any matches in June, the Vietnam national team dropped 16 places in the FIFA rankings last month.
In June, the Vietnamese national team did not play any international matches while teams around the world were mostly competing in the World Cup qualifiers or continental tournament qualifiers.
Therefore, it is not surprising that the Vietnam national football team dropped 16 places, down to 143rd place in the world and lost the top position in Southeast Asia to the Philippines (124). We are even behind Thailand (140). In Asia, the Vietnam national football team also dropped to 22nd place. However, the Vietnam national football team is still not the team that dropped the most in the world last month, the team that dropped the most in the world is the Central African Republic (down 29 places).
