The Vietnamese national team has dropped sharply in the FIFA rankings.

Having not played any matches in June, the Vietnamese national team dropped 16 places in the FIFA rankings last month.

In June, the Vietnamese national team did not play any international matches, while teams around the world were mostly competing in World Cup qualifiers or continental tournament qualifiers.

Therefore, it is no surprise that the Vietnamese national team dropped 16 places, down to 143rd in the world and lost the top spot in Southeast Asia to the Philippines (124). We even ranked behind Thailand (140). In Asia, the Vietnamese national team also dropped to 22nd.
