Weather forecast for Tet holiday nationwide

Tomorrow (February 16), the North will have a weak cold air mass, then it will be supplemented by an easterly shift around the 18th and 19th. However, due to the weak intensity of the cold air mass and its center being shifted towards the sea, the Northern provinces will mainly be affected by the southwestern edge of this air mass.

The National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting predicts the weather for the next 10 days in all regions nationwide (from February 15 to 24, or from the 27th to the 6th of the Lunar New Year) as follows:

Northern region: From February 15 to 20, the sky is cloudy, the air humidity is high. The weather is foggy, scattered light rain and cold mainly around midnight and morning. From February 21 to 24, there is little rain, at night and in the morning there is fog and scattered light fog, the air humidity decreases, the day is less cloudy and sunny, the temperature gradually increases. The lowest temperature is 14 - 17 degrees Celsius, in mountainous areas it is below 13 degrees. The highest temperature is 24 - 27 degrees Celsius, in the Northwest region it is 28 - 30 degrees. The average humidity is 83 - 88% in the first 5 days, then it decreases to 80 - 85%.

Central region: From Thanh Hoa to Thua Thien-Hue, from February 15 to 20, the weather will be cloudy, with fog at night and in the morning and some places will have light rain. In the north, it will be slightly cold at night and in the morning. From February 21 to 24, the weather will be cloudy at night and in the morning, with less clouds in the afternoon, sunny, and the temperature will increase.

The area from Da Nang to Binh Thuan has light rain in some places in the north, no rain in the south, sunny days. The lowest temperature in the north is 15 - 18 degrees Celsius, in the south is 18 - 20 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature in the north is 24 - 27 degrees Celsius, in the south is 27 - 30 degrees Celsius. Average humidity in the north is 82 - 87%; in the south is 80 - 85%.

Central Highlands and Southern region: During the next 10 days, the weather will generally be rainless and sunny. In the Central Highlands, the lowest temperature is 13-16 degrees Celsius. The highest temperature is 27-30 degrees Celsius. Average humidity is 75-80%.

Southern region: Lowest temperature 20 – 23 degrees Celsius, Eastern region has some places below 20 degrees. Highest temperature 30 – 33 degrees Celsius, some places above 33 degrees. Average humidity 75 – 80%.
