Which country's tourists are the most honest in the world?
Brazilian tourists are the most honest in South America, Hong Kongers are the most honest in Asia, and Canadians are the least likely to steal in North America. Meanwhile, American and Chinese tourists are both ranked among those who have shoplifted.
A recent study on the level of shoplifting by tourists in hotels shows that Danish tourists rarely steal items, while Colombian tourists frequently take hotel items home by mistake.

"Are you an honest traveler? How honest are you when answering this question?" were the opening questions of a recent poll conducted by a leading global hotel booking website.
The survey was conducted with 8,600 tourists from 28 countries and territories. Brazilian tourists were considered the most honest in South America, Hong Kongers topped the rankings in Asia, and Canadians (in Quebec) were the most honest in North America. The US and China were both ranked among the groups with tourists who had previously shoplifted.
According to the survey, the most common items that tourists "mistakenly" take are magazines and books. Others prefer linens and towels, while Chinese tourists tend to favor furniture such as lamps, clocks, and artwork.
