Nearly 5,000 people are expected to attend the art program 'Heroic Ben Thuy' in Nghe An.
(Baonghean.vn) - The art program "Heroic Ben Thuy" co-organized by Nhan Dan Newspaper - Nghe An Provincial Party Committee - Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee is scheduled to take place on the evening of September 8. This is the first time a large-scale, grandiose program about Ben Thuy - the land of steadfastness in many historical periods of the homeland has been organized.

| On the morning of August 26, the People's Committee of Nghe An province held a working session with relevant units to review the organization of the "Heroic Ben Thuy" art program. Comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Comrade Phan Van Hung - Director of the People's Television Center co-chaired the meeting. The art program "Heroic Ben Thuy" aims to review the historical, cultural and revolutionary traditions of the land and people of Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces; reflect the great achievements in the process of socio-economic development; contribute to educating patriotism for the younger generation.
Through documentary reports, songs, scenes, and interactions with historical witnesses, the art program will recreate on stage the heroic history of the people and army of Nghe An under the Quang Trung - Nguyen Hue flag; the revolutionary spirit of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement in 1930 - 1931; and reflect the fierce years of fighting against the destructive war of American imperialism.
At the meeting, delegates discussed many issues related to the organization of this special program. Mr. Phan Van Hung - Director of Nhan Dan Newspaper Television Center said that up to this point, the basic script has been completed.
“The art troupes have coordinated and agreed on segments and tasks. Logistics, reception, etc. will follow a detailed plan; professional issues such as fiber optic cable and direct satellite transmission, etc. will be coordinated smoothly and on schedule,” Mr. Phan Van Hung stated at the meeting.

The location chosen to host the program is the area on the North bank of the old Ben Thuy ferry (between the two current Ben Thuy bridges). The program is expected to welcome many Central delegates and the two provinces of Nghe An - Ha Tinh, attracting nearly 5,000 people to attend. Therefore, ensuring security and order, traffic flow, parking lots, etc. are also discussed by the delegates. In addition, backup plans are also mentioned in the spirit of being proactive in all situations.
Concluding the meeting, comrade Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized the importance of the art program "Heroic Ben Thuy"; thereby directing the sectors, units and localities to coordinate smoothly, conduct thorough surveys, in accordance with the assigned tasks, in the spirit of solemn organization, meaningful, practical, deeply educational and economical.
