After completing the 10th grade entrance exam, on the afternoon of June 7, the Examination Council began working to conduct the exam marking according to regulations. The Department of Education and Training mobilized about 600 officials and teachers currently teaching at secondary and high schools to participate in the exam marking.

This year, the exam marking is carried out simultaneously at many locations, which are high schools in Vinh city. The marking of exam papers is arranged in absolute safety, with security forces 24/7 and adequate fire prevention and fighting equipment.

To ensure the seriousness and safety of the marking, the marking process is strictly implemented. Accordingly, the examination room, cabinets, boxes or examination equipment are locked and sealed, and when opened or closed, the police, inspectors and the secretary of the Examination Council must be present. Those on duty are absolutely not allowed to bring information transmission and reception equipment, copy documents, private papers and pens not specified by the Examination Council into and out of the examination marking area.

During the implementation process, security cameras monitored and recorded in the exam storage rooms, multiple-choice exam grading rooms, and essay exam grading rooms without Internet connection.

According to the Regulations of the 10th grade entrance exam, the head and deputy head of the exam marking team will assign examiners for each marking session. The marking will be carried out in two rounds, and the head and deputy head of the exam marking team will keep secret the list of examiners assigned to mark the two independent rounds. The marking, evaluation and scoring of the exams will be in accordance with the marking guidelines of the Department of Education and Training.

The first multiple-choice tests are graded by machine. During the grading process, there is a direct and continuous supervisory team from the time the seal of the multiple-choice answer sheet is opened until the end of grading. Members involved in processing the multiple-choice answer sheets are not allowed to bring pencils or erasers into the grading room and are not allowed to correct or add to the candidate's multiple-choice answer sheet for any reason.

According to the plan, the exam marking will start from 2:00 p.m. on June 7 until June 12. It is expected that on June 15, schools will receive the results at the Department and announce the exam scores for the 10th grade entrance exam and the entrance exam for Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted.
