“For the past two years, the fashion industry has been sluggish, constantly closed, resulting in losses. Now, everyone is back to work and school as usual, especially tourism has reopened, so the demand for clothes for going out and traveling has increased. In anticipation of the holidays, at the end of March, my shop imported more than 100 million VND worth of goods to serve customers. Revenue in the first half of April increased 3 times compared to previous months,” said Ms. Hoang Anh, owner of a clothing shop on Nguyen Van Cu Street (Vinh City).
After a period of closing down and switching to online business to save costs, Mr. Hoang Phu, owner of a fashion store on Thanh Thai Street, has reopened. “Due to the prolonged impact of the epidemic, people's economy is quite difficult. Therefore, instead of renting a space on a large, busy street, I moved to a smaller street or a smaller booth to reduce costs and reduce product prices. And now, instead of selling expensive branded goods, I have switched to affordable fashion lines to suit the income levels of many people. It's only the beginning of summer, but the store's revenue has increased significantly compared to the same period last year," said Mr. Phu.
