10 people were punished for spreading false news about Vingroup Chairman
The Ministry of Public Security has just transferred the file to the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications to handle the individual spreading false information related to Vingroup Corporation.
Lieutenant General To An Xo - Chief of Office and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Public Security this afternoon (July 11) confirmed to VietNamNet that the functional forces of the Ministry of Public Security have verified, clarified, and transferred the case file to the Hanoi Department of Information and Communications to handle according to the law against To Vi Hoan (born in 1984, residing in Cau Dien ward, Nam Tu Liem district, Hanoi).
Hoan was determined to have committed the act of givingfalse informationrelated to Vingroup Corporation, affecting the reputation, rights and legitimate interests of the enterprise, negatively impacting the stock market.
According to Lieutenant General To An Xo, the Ministry of Public Security is verifying, clarifying, and handling according to the law nine individuals in seven other provinces and cities who spread false information about Mr. Pham Nhat Vuong, Chairman of Vingroup, who was subject to measures to prevent him from leaving the country.
