Bringing the spirit of Workers' Month to every dormitory and factory.
The 2026 Workers' Month in Nghe An is truly a comprehensive campaign focused on the well-being of workers. The spirit of solidarity from the Trade Union has permeated every factory and worker's quarters, igniting new vitality for the province's workforce.
Putting the worker at the center
May in President Ho Chi Minh's homeland is also the time when life in the industrial zones and factories of Nghe An becomes more bustling than ever. A new wave of energy has been ignited since the launching ceremony.Workers' MonthIn 2026, organized by the Provincial Labor Union, a comprehensive and in-depth campaign focusing on the well-being of workers will begin.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Kha Van Tam, Chairman of the Nghe An Provincial Federation of Labor, emphasized: "Workers' Month is not only an opportunity to recall the glorious traditions of the working class, but also a time to realize the commitments of the Trade Union organization through the most practical actions."
The activities of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union for workers were concretized at the ceremony. These included 40 Certificates of Merit awarded by the Provincial People's Committee to workers with outstanding achievements and those who have silently contributed to the province's economic development. There were also 54 gifts handed directly to workers who unfortunately suffered work-related accidents while creating value for society. In particular, 20 "Trade Union Shelters" were awarded at the event, helping to realize the dream of secure housing for 20 union members in difficult circumstances...

Sharing his thoughts on the event, Mr. Cao Hoang Tien Lam - Chairman of the Trade Union of Luxshare-ICT (Nghe An) II Co., Ltd., expressed: "More than anyone else, each of us trade union officials understands the difficulties and hardships of workers directly on the production line, the pressures of deadlines, long shifts, and the stringent requirements for productivity and quality of each product… Each product produced is not only the result of labor, but also a testament to the discipline, the will to overcome difficulties, and the aspiration to excel of Vietnamese workers in the new era."
Immediately following the launch of Workers' Month, a series of activities in response to Workers' Month were implemented simultaneously, continuously, humanely, and widely across all grassroots trade unions throughout the province, from wards and communes to FDI enterprises.
Realizing from the ground up.
With the spirit of "focusing on the grassroots and putting workers at the center," trade unions at all levels in Nghe An have simultaneously launched many practical activities. A prime example is the launching ceremony of the Workers' Month in Thanh Vinh ward. Here, concern was realized through practical gifts handed directly to workers' families in difficult circumstances, and many welfare programs related to health check-ups, sports training, education, etc.

“I was truly impressed with this year’s Workers’ Month launch ceremony, where workers not only participated in many welfare programs but also connected with each other through a vibrant team-building program. It’s been a long time since we’ve all participated in such a fun event together,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thu Hien, a union member from Thanh Vinh ward.
Beyond just ceremonial events, the Trade Union has truly become involved in the lives of workers through close attention and care. On the afternoon of May 4th, the Truong Vinh Ward Trade Union implemented a gift-giving program called "Visiting Workers' Dormitories" at the Em-Tech Vietnam Co., Ltd. branch in Nghe An. In the cramped space of the dormitories, the conversations between union officials and workers became as intimate as those between family members.

In addition, many units organize sports competitions such as football, volleyball, badminton, etc. These tournaments and activities not only improve physical fitness but also strengthen solidarity, help workers regenerate energy, and foster a stronger bond with their unit and organization.
The "Trade Union Meal" and "Summer Cooling" models were also simultaneously implemented at many units such as Song Hieu Forestry and Agriculture Company, Nghe An Urban Environment and Construction Joint Stock Company, etc.
The diversity and creativity in the activities of Workers' Month are demonstrated through the care given to the "home front" of workers. The U10 and U12 boys' football tournament for the children of workers in Quan Thanh commune is a prime example. With 60 young athletes participating, the tournament created a healthy and beneficial playground, helping workers feel more secure and proud of their organization.

With many creative approaches tailored to local conditions, the trade unions at all levels in Nghe An province have been striving to realize the message: Wherever there are workers, there is a trade union.
Cultivating class pride
Besides practical welfare activities, the 2026 Workers' Month also fosters the morale of the province's workforce. This spirit is clearly demonstrated through the flag-raising ceremony and singing of the national anthem right in the factory on the first Monday of Workers' Month.

At many businesses, thousands of workers, dressed in red shirts with yellow stars, faced the national flag to commemorate the 51st anniversary of national reunification and celebrate Workers' Month. Amidst rows of machinery, the resounding national anthem not only stirred patriotism but also reminded each worker of their responsibility to connect their personal careers with the development of the country, transforming national pride into motivation to improve productivity and labor quality.
A prominent highlight of the series of activities aimed at fostering class pride is the first "Nghe An Workers Following Uncle Ho's Teachings" Award - an opportunity for the Provincial Labor Union to commend outstanding examples in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style during the 2023-2025 period.
“With careful selection, we will choose 10 outstanding individuals from businesses and 5 excellent collectives with models and initiatives to improve labor productivity to honor during the 2026 Workers' Month. These exemplary ‘Skilled and Innovative Workers’ are not only a source of pride for the Trade Union organization but also spread a strong desire to contribute among the workforce throughout the province,” shared Mr. Nguyen Chi Cong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor.

The 2026 Workers' Month has been and will continue to be widely implemented in every factory, every worker's dormitory, reaching every individual worker. With the profound attention of Party committees and government authorities at all levels, and the innovative efforts of the Trade Union organization, the workforce...WorkerThe workforce of Nghe An is increasingly asserting its position as the pioneering class in the cause.industrialization, modernizing the province.
