Last July, the German Parliament allocated €5.6 billion to support approximately 450,000 asylum seekers in Germany. This decision comes amid a growing influx of refugees from Africa and the Middle East into Europe. It is projected that around 800,000 refugees will arrive in Germany by the end of this year.

According to United Nations estimates, around 300,000 people have left the Middle East and Africa this year alone, hoping to find a better life in European countries, particularly Germany.
