Germany proposes no-fly zone in Syria
Following the bombing of an aid convoy near Aleppo, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier on the morning of September 22 called for a no-fly zone in Syria for 7 days.
The German Foreign Minister said that the current situation in Syria is very fragile. In order to save the ceasefire, the only solution is to completely ban military aircraft over Syria for at least 3 to 7 days.

Previously, on September 21, US Secretary of State John Kerry asked Russia and the Syrian government to quickly stop flights over the Syrian war zone and considered this the last chance to save the ceasefire.
The conflict between Russia and the US regarding the latest war moves in Syria continues to escalate as both sides continue to blame each other for the recent bloody airstrikes.
Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that Western accusations that Russia was responsible for the bombing of the aid convoy were a plot to distract attention from the US-led coalition airstrikes on Syrian government forces on September 17.
He also said that an American Predator drone appeared in the area of the relief convoy just minutes before the convoy was hit by an airstrike./.
