"During the aerial ball dispute, Duc Huy hit his head on his opponent and was stunned. He temporarily lost his memory. But the doctors confirmed that after a night of rest, Duc Huy will be stable again," a VFF member revealed toVnExpress.
On his personal page, the midfielder of Hanoi Club also confirmed: "Maybe I don't remember anything right now. But tomorrow when I wake up and look at this photo, I will know that yesterday I was on the field fighting with my teammates."
Duc Huy's confession received tens of thousands of Likes and Shares. When asked by fans, he confidently affirmed: "Thank you for everyone's concerns. Tomorrow I will be fine and remember everything."
Duc Huy jumped up to compete for the ball with midfielder Mehdi Taremi - a player who is 1m87 tall and weighs 79kg. Taremi's shoulder hit Duc Huy hard in the face, causing the Vietnamese midfielder to collapse on the field. After receiving medical attention, he got up and played for about three more minutes, before leaving the field to make way for Ngan Van Dai.
Duc Huy grew up in Hanoi's training center. He is the same generation as Cong Phuong or Xuan Truong, and contributed greatly to the success of Vietnamese football in 2018. The 24-year-old midfielder is known by nicknames such as "Your Majesty" or "Prince" thanks to his strong and humorous personality.
