Crimea Duma declares that Ukraine has no way to secede the peninsula from Russia
(Baonghean.vn) - Crimean politicians claim that Kiev is trying to convince Crimean people to return to Ukraine, but this "propaganda campaign" has not brought any results, while affirming that there is no scenario that can secede the peninsula from Russia.

Dmitry Belik, Deputy Speaker of the Sevastopol Duma, said Kiev is trying to persuade Crimeans to return to Ukraine, but this "propaganda campaign" is not bringing any results.
Previously, the previous president Petro Poroshenko expressed the view that Crimea would definitely become a part of Ukraine. Until the current president Vladimir Zelensky also made it clear that returning Crimea was the top priority of the Ukrainian government.
Mr. Belik affirmed that no scenario could successfully convince the people of the Crimean peninsula to "secede" from their country.
"Ukraine should know that you can shoot stories and documentary films to serve as a full measure against Russia, somehow returning the peninsula to Ukrainian jurisdiction. However, practice shows that no film, even the most skillful, can change the democratic will of the public," said Dmitry Belik, Deputy Speaker of the Sevastopol Duma.
