Tools every driver should have in case of a dead battery
The car's battery allows the engine to start and powers the lights, sound system, and every other feature in the cabin.
Although cars usually have warning signs of a failing battery, they are not always easy to spot, especially for new owners. In some cases, a dead car battery can be life-threatening for the occupants, so it is important to have the right tools.
Battery jumper cables
The first thing you should have in this case is a pair of jumper cables but these are not always available so you will need to prepare your own dedicated jumper battery.

Drivers should have two jumper cables ready in their vehicles to use when the car battery runs out of power. Jumper cables usually consist of two separate wires, with the red wire connecting the positive (+) terminal and the black wire connecting the negative (-) terminal. You should choose cables that are about 2 meters long and have clamps for ease of use. In addition, drivers should also understand the steps to jump start the battery to handle the problem.
Craftsman Portable Power Boosters
This compact device is only the size of a lantern, but it packs a really powerful punch.
Jump starters typically use long-life lithium ion batteries, similar to those used in most electric cars. They can deliver a powerful electric jolt, enough to jump-start any conventional combustion engine up to 8.0L, as well as diesel engines up to 4.5L. When fully charged, the battery holds enough power to jump-start the engine 35 times before needing to be recharged using a 12V DC or USB-C charging port.
