Stabbed someone with a knife after teasing too much
(Baonghean.vn) - After teasing too much and being slapped on the cheek by Mr. Truong Cong Duong, Tu Duc Quy used a fruit knife to stab the person who slapped him in the chest.
On the afternoon of April 27, Tan Ky District People's Court tried the criminal case against Tu Duc Quy (born in 1985), residing in Ky Thinh hamlet, Tien Ky commune (Tan Ky) for the crime of "Intentionally causing injury".
According to the case file, on the afternoon of February 10, Quy met Mr. Truong Cong Duong, who lived in the same commune, at a wood-picking spot on the side of the road. There, Quy teased Mr. Duong too much and was slapped in the face by him.After that, the two sides got into a fight but were stopped so Quy stopped.

At 5:30 p.m. the same day, Quy met Mr. Duong again, used a fruit knife to stab Mr. Duong once in the chest and then ran away but was surrounded and captured by the people. Mr. Duong was taken to the emergency room by his relatives.
On February 14, Mr. Duong submitted a request for an assessment of his disability rate and a request to initiate a criminal case to the Tan Ky District Police Department. The forensic examination report of the Nghe An Province Forensic Center concluded that Mr. Duong's body injury rate due to injuries was 13%.During the investigation, the victim requested the defendant to compensate for the damages and losses of 135 million VND. Before the trial, the defendant's family and the victim's family agreed on civil compensation.
It is known that Quy got married but his wife left him a few years ago, leaving him to raise three small children alone. His family is in difficult circumstances.
At the end of the trial, the jury sentenced Tu Duc Quy to 18 months in prison.
