(Baonghean.vn) – Using a telephone wire connected to the power grid, after a period of use, it was overloaded, causing a fire and electric leakage, electrocuting a person to death while leading a buffalo across.

In recent days, people in Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district have been talking about electrocution accidents in the area.

Previously, at around 6:15 p.m. on August 16, Mr. Lu Van Toan (born in 1963) in Phuong Tien 2 village, Tien Phong commune, Que Phong district, on his way home with his buffalo, when passing through a section of electric wire pulled across the garden by a neighbor, due to the low power line, Mr. Toan unfortunately got caught in a section of wire that had been burned and leaked electricity before and was electrocuted and died on the spot.

It is known that the power line that caused Mr. Toan's accident was from a neighbor's house that used telephone wires to transmit grid power to their home. After a while, the line was overloaded and caught fire, causing an electrical leak.

Upon receiving the news, at 8:00 a.m. on August 17, the Tien Phong Commune Police Department arrived to make a record of the incident. According to Mr. Luong Van Diep, Deputy Head of the Tien Phong Commune Police Department, "Since the victim's family did not request anything, we made a record of the incident and then let the family proceed with the burial according to local customs."

It is known that Mr. Toan's family is a poor household in the commune. He and his wife have 2 children. The eldest son died in an accident a few years ago, and the daughter is now married.
