Using car to sell fireworks, unsuccessfully resisting police

(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of January 20, the Department of Administrative Management of Social Order, Nghe An Police caught red-handed a ring of illegal firecrackers trading and transporting, seizing 69 kg of firecrackers.

Accordingly, at around 10:30 p.m., two subjects Nguyen Van Hau (born in 1988) and Nguyen Van Thuc (born in 1983), both residing in Ngoc Son hamlet, Do Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An, used a car with Lao license plate NN 1453 to go to National Highway 48 in hamlet 6 Nam Bac Lam, Dien Lam commune, Dien Chau district to conduct a firecracker transaction.

When the buyers appeared and checked the goods, the Public Order Police team arrested them red-handed. Suddenly ambushed, the subjects fought back fiercely to escape. However, the team controlled and arrested the subjects and took them to the Dien Chau District Police headquarters.

Upon inspection, the sack contained 45 fireworks weighing 69 kg. During the initial investigation, the suspects admitted that Hau and Thuc had purchased the fireworks from Laos for 3 million Lao kip.

After Vu Quang Ban (born in 1992), residing in Hamlet 5 Bac Lam, Dien Lam Commune, Dien Chau District, called to discuss purchasing the goods, Hau and Thuc transported the fireworks to sell for 450,000 VND/mortar. They were caught red-handed while transporting the fireworks from the car.

It is known that Hau and Thuc have been trading in firecrackers for over a month now. These subjects often go to Laos to buy firecrackers and then bring them back to Dien Chau district for sale.

Although the authorities have organized many propaganda campaigns as well as discovered and arrested many rings of buying and selling and transporting large quantities of firecrackers, with the profits from these illegal activities, some subjects are still very reckless and daring./.
