Stop producing cheap car Hyundai i10
With the desire to move towards more high-end and comfortable cars, the Korean car company has decided to stop producing its cheapest car model in India, the Hyundai i10.
Hyundai recently announced that it has closed its i10 production line in India. According to the Korean automaker, stopping production of this low-cost hatchback will help the company focus on developing its business in high-end, more convenient models. It is expected that by 2020, Hyundai will launch 3 completely new models and upgrade 5 current models.

However, the main reason why Hyundai stopped producing the i10 is because the higher-end Grand i10 has grown up. The model sold since 2013 in India is currently having quite good sales, and the removal of the older version promises to significantly increase sales for this model. In Vietnam, the Hyundai distributor stopped selling the i10 since 2014, this segment was replaced by the Grand i10, similar to the Indian market.

In the world's second most populous market like India, cheap cars are the most popular. That is the reason why Hyundai continues to sell the old i10. It is known that this is one of the Korean car company's main models in India in terms of sales after being introduced to the market in 2007.
