Using tricks to recruit high-salary workers, 2 subjects tricked and trafficked people across the border
(Baonghean.vn) - Ky Son District Police have now issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Moong Van Chuyen and Luong Pho Tam, both residing in Ky Son District, for human trafficking.
Through the investigation, Ky Son District Police discovered a suspected human trafficking ring that had previously occurred in the area with sophisticated methods and tricks. To concentrate forces and means to fight and clarify the situation, Ky Son District Police established a special project.
After collecting all the documents and evidence, the Investigation Committee determined that Moong Van Chuyen (born in 1988), residing in Khe Tang village, Chieu Luu commune, Ky Son district, and a woman named Kham (unknown background and personal information) had known each other before. Around 2012, Kham asked Chuyen to find gullible women to trick them into going to the border to sell for profit. If successful, Chuyen would receive a "commission". Moong Van Chuyen agreed.
Then, Chuyen went to meet Luong Pho Tam (born in 1990), residing in Thao Di village, Bao Nam commune, Ky Son district, and asked Tam "do you know any women who are easy to trick into being sold to the border to get married and earn money to spend?"

Taking advantage of the difficult circumstances of Ms. LMT (born in 1993), who lived in the same village as him, Luong Pho Tam approached and tricked Ms. T. into crossing the border to “work as a worker at a company with a high salary”. Using many tricks, Luong Pho Tam and Moong Van Chuyen enticed and persuaded Ms. T. to agree to cross the border. The next day, Tam and Chuyen took Ms. T. by bus to Quang Ninh province. Here, T. was picked up by a woman named Kham and taken to the border by a small road. This woman gave Moong Van Chuyen and Luong Pho Tam 20 million VND.
After a period of being sold as a wife abroad, due to the life at her husband's house being under house arrest, working hard day and night, and being frequently beaten by her husband, taking advantage of loopholes from her husband's family, Ms. T. escaped and returned to Vietnam.
Synchronously deploying professional measures, on January 14, 2024, Ky Son District Police successfully broke up a case, arresting two subjects Luong Pho Tam and Moong Van Chuyen for human trafficking.
Currently, Ky Son District Police have issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Moong Van Chuyen and Luong Pho Tam for the crime of Human Trafficking.
