According to pharmacists, people who constantly drink alcohol and take hangover pills at the same time will quickly experience cognitive decline and behavioral disorders.
There are many types of hangover relief pills available on the market today: RU-21, ME-21, mewol-21, and more recently, voskyo... These pills have similar ingredients, mainly consisting of sugar, vitamins B1, B6, PP, glutamic acid, fumaric acid, and succinic acid. These are substances the body uses to metabolize alcohol. These substances are not drugs but a type of dietary supplement.
Because of the misconception that hangover pills are effective medicine, many people freely drink alcohol and then use them to counteract its effects and prevent negative impacts on their bodies. However, in reality, once alcohol enters the body, it directly affects the liver and nervous system before you even have a chance to take the hangover pill.
In reality, hangover relief pills only partially support the process of alcohol metabolism, and there is no documented evidence to prove their protective or restorative effects on organs easily damaged by alcohol, such as the liver, or their ability to eliminate the effects of alcohol on the central nervous system to get rid of drunkenness.
If you're already drunk and you take hangover pills, you're essentially "forcing" your body's systems to work much harder. The two organs most affected are the liver and the nervous system. Alcohol enters the nervous system very quickly, altering the basic metabolism of brain cells in areas responsible for personality, judgment, perception, language, and vision. Taking hangover pills at this time will only increase the burden on the brain.
Therefore, people who constantly take hangover pills and alcohol at the same time will quickly experience cognitive decline and behavioral disorders. Alcohol and medication taken simultaneously are metabolized by the liver, causing liver damage, chemical incompatibility, and liver overload, leading to the accumulation of toxins. In severe cases, it can even cause liver necrosis.
There is no "magic potion" that will prevent someone from getting drunk. Taking hangover pills to increase your alcohol tolerance while drinking only leads to harm. There have been cases of people nearly losing their lives because they thought they had a hangover cure and drank freely. Alcohol has long-term effects on health, especially after the age of 45, when health is no longer as robust as in youth, so it is necessary to limit alcohol consumption to protect yourself.
