In addition to the trio Yamaha Exciter 150, Honda Winner 150 and Suzuki Raider R150 FI, the 125cc versions of the brand new Brixton BX are also interesting choices.

The 125/150cc manual motorbike segment in the Vietnamese market is quite bustling due to the interest and preference of young people. The popularity of manual motorbike models displayed at the Vietnam Motorcycle Show 2017 further proves the interest of young men in this type of motorbike that shows a bit of masculine personality.

In the market, in addition to familiar models such as Yamaha Exciter 150, Honda Winner 150 and Suzuki Raider R150 FI, the name Brixton BX is becoming a "strange wind" with a classic design and a price range of only 48 to 53 million VND for the 125cc version.

Here is a list of manual motorbikes priced under 55 million VND for your reference:

1. Yamaha Exciter - The most "popular" 150cc manual transmission motorbike

First appearing in the Vietnamese market in 2008, Yamaha's manual clutch motorbike quickly "caused a storm" among young people and up to now, the sales of the manual clutch motorbike Exciter are always the dream of the two remaining competitors, Honda and Suzuki.

Currently, the Yamaha Exciter 150 is being officially distributed with prices ranging from 45 to 47 million VND. The vehicle is equipped with a 150cc, 4-stroke, single-cylinder SOHC engine, liquid-cooled and using Yamaha's exclusive electronic fuel injection technology. Combined with a 5-speed manual transmission, the Exciter 150 produces a maximum capacity of 15.4 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.8Nm at 7,000 rpm.

2. Suzuki Raider R150 FI price from 49 million Dong

Suzuki Raider R150 FI was first introduced in the Indonesian market under the name Satria F150 FI in early February 2016 and quickly appeared at private import companies with a selling price of more than 90 million VND.

It was not until November 2016 that Suzuki Vietnam decided to officially distribute this model and named it Raider R150 FI, with a selling price of 49 million VND. In the Vietnamese market, the Suzuki Raider R150 FI standard version in white-blue and red-black is officially distributed at a price of 48.99 million VND and the GP version will cost 200,000 VND more, up to 49.19 million VND. However, with Suzuki's sales policy, Raider's sales are still "sluggish" and out of breath compared to its competitors.

The "heart" of the Suzuki Raider R150 FI is a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, DOHC, 4-valve, 147.4cc engine and a 6-speed gearbox. The engine produces a maximum capacity of 18.2 horsepower at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.8 Nm at 8,500 rpm.

3. Honda Winner 150

With the impressive sales of Yamaha Exciter, Honda has introduced its first 150cc manual motorbike in the Vietnamese market at the VMCS 2016 exhibition. Honda Winner 150 is officially distributed with the sporty version of red and black and white and Honda Vietnam suggests the selling price is 45.99 million and 45.49 million VND.

However, in the past 6 months, the selling price of Winner has dropped to 37 million VND. The somewhat old-fashioned design and "from afar, it looks like a Wave" are some of the reasons why Winner has not been able to increase its sales.

Honda Winner 150 is a manual clutch motorcycle with an underbone design with a DOHC engine, single cylinder, electronic fuel injection, liquid-cooled, 150cc capacity. Combined with a 6-speed gearbox, the engine produces a maximum capacity of 15.4 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 13.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

4. Brixton BX - A strange wind in the 125/2150cc manual transmission motorbike line in Vietnam

Before the VMCS 2017 exhibition, young Vietnamese people were quite surprised by the information that the classic Brixton BX motorcycle model will be sold in the Vietnamese market with 2 versions of 125 and 150cc. In which, the 125cc version has 3 different lines and the price ranges from only 48 to 53 million VND.

At its booth during the 4 days of the exhibition, Brixton BX is said to have received more than 200 orders. In addition, the number of visitors to this booth has also increased rapidly day by day.

The basic dimensions of the Brixton BX include an overall length of 2,020 mm, width of 820 mm, height of 1,160 mm and a wheelbase of 1,320 mm. In addition, the saddle height is 760 mm, suitable for the Vietnamese body shape, the fuel tank has a capacity of 13.5 liters and the dry weight is 128 kg.

The "heart" of the Brixton BX 125 is a single-cylinder, 4-stroke, SOHC, air-cooled engine with a capacity of 124.8 cc. The engine produces a maximum capacity of 11 horsepower at 8,500 rpm and a maximum torque of 11.4 Nm at 7,000 rpm.

The great interest in Brixton BX proves that young people are "thirsty" for a manual motorbike with a design that is different from the usual, and shows how much individuality they have. Of course, immediately placing trust in Brixton is also somewhat risky, when this motorbike brand is still too new, originating from Austria but manufactured in China, the Suzuki GN125 engine is manufactured in China and the motorbike has not even been registered in Vietnam.
