At the filming commencement ceremony, Duong Cam Lynh respectfully lit incense and prayed for her comeback role and for the film to be successful and loved by the audience.
She said, "Over the past two years, although I've received offers to act in films, I haven't dared to accept them because I know my mind and emotions aren't yet fully ready for the role."
When I was struggling to pay off debts, raise two young children, and face all sorts of public opinion, accepting a film role would have been disrespectful to the profession. Director Xuan Phuoc was involved in Duong Cam Lynh's first film when she returned from the US 14 years ago.Life's FlightTherefore, she immediately accepted his offer when she was invited to participate in this project.
The actress doesn't prioritize the salary because, for her, what's important is suitability, interest in the role, a dedicated director, and an engaging script.
"I'm not going to demand a high price just because of the scandal; I just need to be paid fairly for the effort I put in," she added.
