The 10.5km long Mau Duc - Thach Ngan inter-commune road in Con Cuong district is an important artery connecting the two communes on the left bank of the Lam River. However, for many years, this road has been in a state of unfinished construction. Lack of capital is still a perennial problem causing construction to stagnate. As a result, many people cannot transport agricultural products, and students have difficulty getting to school, causing a lot of frustration in the community.

With the nickname Dan Xa Duong Nhua, in a post on Facebook on the morning of January 16, 2017, Mr. Thien compared the muddy and difficult Mau Duc - Thach Ngan road to the ammunition transport route to the battlefield during the anti-American war. Nghe An Newspaper once reported that the Mau Duc - Thach Ngan route has a total investment of 53 billion VND. According to the plan, it should be completed by May 2013.
