Dustin Nguyen makes $30 million action movie
The producer of the new project of the actor "Bloodline Hero" is the one who made the series "Rush Hour" with Jackie Chan.
On the morning of November 3, at the press conference at the 4th Hanoi International Film Festival (Haniff), Dustin Nguyen shared that he had just accepted to direct a new action film for the producerArthur M. Sarkissian. The project is an English-language American film with a current budget of over $30 million and an untitled title.

The new film tells the story of four former US CIA agents who go to the Golden Triangle (Southeast Asia) to carry out a secret mission. "The story will have guns, planes and explosions, but it also focuses on the brotherhood between men who prefer actions over words. They are always loyal and will live and die for each other. Even though they do not share feelings, they understand each other very well," Dustin Nguyen shared.
The action-filmmaker said he is currently working on selecting locations including the jungles of Malaysia, Myanmar and Canada. The production team is considering casting Russell Crowe (Gladitor) in one of the four main roles. "Action films have always been a subject that I love. This new project is a challenging and exciting journey in my career."
This is the fourth film directed by Dustin Nguyen, after Bao gio co yeu nhau, Trung so and Lua Phat. The work marks Dustin Nguyen's return to collaboration with Hollywood producers after nearly 10 years since he returned to Vietnam to make Dong mau anh hung. Producer ArthurM. Sarkissian is the person who directed Jackie Chan's Rush Hour trilogy. Bebe Pham - director Dustin Nguyen's wife - also joined the project as a production assistant.
The film is expected to start filming in February 2017.
