And most likely these new regulations will be applied by FIFA worldwide from July 1st."
And here are some new regulations at Euro 2016 introduced by Mr. Nguyen Van Mui:
1. While the referee team is inspecting the field before the match, if a player insults, offends, or curses the referee, he will be given a red card. The team of the player who is red-carded before the match will still be allowed to field 11 players but will lose one substitution right.
2. Previously, every time the ball was served, it had to be pushed forward. Now the new rule allows the serving team to move the ball in any direction.
3. Previously, football rules stipulated that a player who deliberately prevented a goal or committed a foul in the penalty area would be given a red card, and his team would be penalized. Under the new rules, a player who commits a foul in the penalty area such as tripping, pulling a shirt, pushing, etc. will only be penalized with a yellow card (previously a red card) and his team will be penalized.
4. When running up to take a penalty kick, the player is not allowed to feint (previously allowed), if he violates, he will be given a yellow card. In case of violation and the ball has entered the net, he must kick the ball again. If the ball does not enter the net, the player will be given a yellow card and the opponent will be awarded an indirect kick or higher (penalty kick is canceled) if the official playing time has not ended.
