Euro 2016 does not have the names Torres, Mata, Costa
Coach Vicente Del Bosque called up many young players for the upcoming Euro in France, instead of some veteran players who are no longer in good form.

Diego Costa once chose to play for Spain instead of his home country Brazil but has not been called up for Euro 2016. The 27-year-old striker has played 10 times for Spain, scoring one goal. This season, Costa has lost form for Chelsea and has also suffered many injuries.
Other notable players absent from the Spanish squad are Juan Mata (Man Utd), Javi Martinez (Bayern Munich), Fernando Torres (Atletico) and Santi Cazorla (Arsenal).
The Spanish squad going to France this time has two new players, Lucas Vazquez (Real Madrid) and Saul Niguez (Atletico).
Spain, the defending champions, are in Group D this year, along with the Czech Republic, Croatia and Türkiye.
Before Euro, Spain has friendly matches against Bosnia, South Korea, Georgia.
