Initial real-life images of the two versions, RC and GP, of the Exciter 150 reveal significant design changes compared to the previous version.
| The RC and GP versions of the Exciter 150 sports motorcycle appeared together at a test track. After several leaks, this is the first time fans of small-sized sports motorcycles have had a clear, close-up look at the Exciter 150. Accordingly, the design of this model has changed significantly compared to the previous version. The front of the bike, with its front fairing and side panels, is more compact. The gap where the horn used to be is now narrower and wider. The turn signals below are smaller and more aesthetically pleasing. |
| The rear of the bike has been significantly redesigned, with the turn signals now separate instead of being integrated with the taillights as before. The rear fender is larger and more prominent, while the exhaust tips look quite sporty. Additionally, the instrument cluster has been redesigned. |
| Meanwhile, the Exciter 150 GP version now features more blue colors. This demonstrates the Japanese manufacturer's responsiveness to feedback from many Vietnamese users who disliked the 2013 Exciter GP due to its excessive use of white. |
| The bike still uses a single-shock rear suspension, cast wheels, and disc brakes for both the front and rear wheels. The Exciter 150 uses a 5-speed gearbox, while the 150cc engine is said to produce a maximum power of 16 horsepower. Speaking with us, a representative from Yamaha Vietnam stated that the Exciter 150 will be launched in mid-December. |
