Good news for fans in Vietnam as VTVcab has completed the acquisition of copyright to broadcast the Champions League and Europa League on the Sports TV and Football TV channels.

It is known that the UEFA Champions League copyright this year is divided into 4 different packages with high prices and VTVCab has purchased package A, which means it will be able to broadcast live the best matches in the Champions League this season. In addition to the Champions League, VTVCab also has the copyright to broadcast matches within the framework of the Europa League 2016/17.

Last year, VTVCab also reached an agreement to broadcast the Champions League for three consecutive seasons, from 2015-16 to 2017-18. However, due to some conflicts in broadcasting, this contract had to be stopped halfway. Today (September 24), VTVCab will officially announce that it has purchased the broadcasting rights for the Champions League and Europa League 2016/17.
