FC A Dong won the Vinh Premier League

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of July 30, at the football field of Vietnam - Korea Technical and Technology College (Vinh City), the final round of the Vinh Premier League organized by the Nghe An Province Amateur Football Association took place. With a total of 31 points after 11 rounds, FC A Dong officially became the new champion of Vinh League 2017.

With no more goals to strive for, in the final round, most teams only fielded their second team and played openly. As a result, FC Dau Tu Xay Dung Mien Trung won against FC Hieu Hoang 9-1; FC Kim Bang won against FC Yen Thanh 11-5; FC Tuan Hung lost to FC Van Minh 1-5.

Despite having enough points to win the championship 1 round in advance and fielding the second team, FC A Dong still came from behind to defeat FC Hai An 7-6. In this match, Do Toan Thang scored 4 goals, raising his scoring record for the season to 18.

However, FC A Dong's main striker lost the title of Top Scorer because in the match right after, Tran Cong Ky scored 5 goals, bringing his total to 21 goals to monopolize this individual title, and at the same time helped FC Chuong Duong defeat FC Hieu Giang 7-1.

At the end of the final round, the Vinh Premier League amateur football tournament closed with the following final results: Champion: FC A Dong (31 points); Runner-up: FC Van Minh (27 points); Third Prize: FC Chuong Duong (22 points); Style Prize: FC Dau Tu Xa Dung Mien Trung; Top scorer: Tran Cong Ky (FC Chuong Duong); Best goalkeeper: Tran Huy Le (FC Van Minh); Team relegated: FC Yen Thanh (only won 3 points after 11 matches); Team having to fight for a ticket to stay in the league: FC Yen Dai (only won 6 points after 11 rounds).
