Ford EcoSport 2018 price from 545 million VND

After being launched in the Vietnamese market in early February this year, the new EcoSport models are ready to hit the shelves this March. Compared to the previous generation, this urban SUV has changed a lot in both design and comfort and has a new engine.

This time launching in the Vietnamese market, EcoSport has 5 different versions, with two engine types: EcoBoost 1.0L and Dragon 1.5L. At the same time, the automatic versions all use the new 6-speed hydraulic transmission.

Among the versions that will be sold on the market, the EcoSport Ambiente 1.5L MT has the lowest price of 545 million VND, the highest is the EcoSport Titanium 1.0L AT EcoBoost version priced at 689 million VND.

Compared to its competitors in the market, EcoSport is cheaper than Suzuki Vitara (779 million VND) and more expensive than Chevrolet Trax (679 million VND). In Vietnam, EcoSport has much higher sales than its competitors, according to monthly and annual statistics of VAMA.

The design of the new version has changed quite a lot compared to the old generation, from the outside to the interior. All are more appreciated. In particular, the interior space of the new EcoSport is much more sophisticated than before.

EcoSport 2018 uses a 1.5L engine with a capacity of 120 horsepower and a maximum torque of 154 Nm, higher than the old engine, while the weight is lighter. Compared to the previous old 1.5L version, the new engine is lighter and has a larger capacity. The new 1.5L version has a capacity of 120 horsepower and a maximum torque of 154 Nm.

This urban SUV is equipped with 6 airbags, along with a sensor system around the car and a rear camera. In addition, the car also has an electronic balance system, electronic brake force distribution and anti-lock braking system ABS, and hill start assist.

EcoSport is sold in 149 different markets and has been sold in Vietnam since 2014. To date, cumulative sales of this car line in Vietnam have reached 15,000 vehicles.
