FSB dismantles ammunition production network operating in 32 regions of Russia
(Baonghean.vn) - On January 23, the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) dismantled the activities of 86 individuals involved in the illegal production and sale of ammunition in 32 regions of Russia, and shut down 9 underground factories.

The FSB statement said: "The Russian Federal Security Service, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Russian National Guard, has dismantled the activities of 86 individuals in 32 regions, involved in restoring the combat capabilities of civilian weapons, manufacturing ammunition in underground workshops and selling them in many regions of the country."
According to the announcement, a total of 197 guns made in Russia and abroad were seized during the search, including 18 machine guns, 126 pistols and revolvers, 16 submachine guns, 38 carbines and rifles.
Also found were an RPO-A Shmel Bone flamethrower, two RPG-26 anti-tank grenade launchers, 11 fragmentation grenades, 33 kg of explosives, 88 electric detonators, about 300 main parts for weapons, as well as more than 10,000 different ammunition boxes and more than 9,000 components for ammunition production./.
