In the atmosphere of the first day of school of millions of students across the country, on September 5, 2016, Fubon Life Insurance Company Vietnam (Fubon Life Vietnam) gave gifts to 40 students in difficult circumstances under the program "Wings of Childhood Dreams" in Nghe An province, as an encouragement for the will and overcoming difficulties to study of the students, and at the same time as a call for the community to join hands to act so that childhood dreams can fly far.

Sharing about the activity "Gifts on the first day of school", Mr. Anton Chang - General Director of Fubon Life Vietnam, said: The program was coordinated by Fubon Life Vietnam with the Fubon Life Vietnam General Agent Office in Nghe An and the Board of Directors of Trung Do Secondary School (Vinh City) and Dien Thanh Primary School (Dien Chau) to give 40 gifts with a total value of 20,000,000 VND to students with difficult family circumstances. We believe that the gifts before the new school year carrying the message of "love" will bring joy to going to school and the current difficulties will be just a small thing for the students.

“Giving wings to childhood dreams” is a long-term charity program, implemented in two regions of the country, initiated by Fubon Life Vietnam since its inception in 2010, through activities of giving thousands of gifts to students including nutritious foods, school supplies, electric fans in the summer, warm blankets in the winter, bicycles to school or scholarships to support and encourage the extraordinary efforts of children from difficult family circumstances to excel in their studies and move towards a bright future. The activity “Gifts on the first day of school” for the 2016-2017 school year is one of the activities that continues Fubon Life Vietnam’s sense of responsibility for the community over the past many years.

Promote education and critical illness insurance products

Mr. Anton Chang also expressed: Fubon Life Vietnam is always deeply aware of the responsibility of a life insurance company in its mission of protecting the lives of families and children from unpredictable risks of life. Fubon Life Vietnam has developed and provided specialized insurance products for parents to build an education fund and protect their parents from serious illnesses.

In July 2016, Fubon Life Vietnam also pioneered the introduction to the market of a new critical illness insurance "Phuc Bao An Phu" with 3 powerful insurance features, protecting the whole family in one insurance contract, which is payment for customers who unfortunately contract 1 of 37 common critical illnesses, payment of hospital support due to accidents up to 300,000 VND/day with a maximum of 90 days/year and accident insurance with a payment of up to 10 billion VND to ensure a solid financial source for the family and the future of children.

Carrying out corporate responsibility for the community

Carrying out the mission of serving society, over the past 5 years, Fubon Life Vietnam has made continuous efforts and pioneered in fulfilling community responsibilities.

Accordingly, many community activities were launched by Fubon Life Vietnam since 2010 when it first entered the Vietnamese insurance market, such as the scholarship program "For Talents of Vietnam Insurance Industry", awarding nearly 100 million VND in scholarships to 32 students from 4 universities, including National Economics University, University of Labor and Social Affairs, Maritime University and Academy of Finance.

Along with that, the programs "Vietnam Family Day", "Gift giving to children with cancer" on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival, Lunar New Year, gift giving to poor students overcoming difficulties, giving school supplies on the occasion of the opening of school in the North and South are carried out continuously, so that the love can fly far. In 2015, the program "Love porridge" Fubon Life Vietnam brought to poor patients in the North and South more than 10,000 portions of nutritious porridge, demonstrating the sense of responsibility and action of Fubon Life Vietnam towards the community.
