Not only does it have a deep and compelling storyline, Fury is also a seriously invested project aimed at delivering artistic and emotional value about an unforgettable chapter in history.

In April 1945, as World War II was nearing its end and Nazi Germany was on the verge of defeat, it was also the most brutal period of the war, with casualties reaching their highest point. Recreating that terrifying "Hell" required many elements, most importantly character design and setting.

To realistically recreate the war, costume designers searched through archives of clothing from the early 1945 period and meticulously replicated them. Top Hollywood makeup artists then transformed star Brad Pitt and his co-stars into true battlefield warriors on screen, with realistic mud, blood, oil, and soot stains.

But the biggest challenge for the filmmakers remained: besides the familiar explosion and gunfire effects, the main theme of this film is about tank drivers.

Finding suitable and still-usable tank models for large-scale battle scenes was difficult enough, but recreating the interior of the tank, allowing viewers to better visualize the lives of the characters, who spent their days and nights connected to the tank and formed a family under that "special roof," was truly a major challenge.

The film will officially be released in theaters nationwide from October 31, 2014.
