The cruel husband murdered his ex-wife in the store.

On July 15, District 3 Police (HCMC) worked with Dam Minh Them (36 years old) - the suspect in the murder of a 37-year-old female employee at the Saigon Railway Transport Service Enterprise on Nguyen Thong Street.

According to initial investigation, after the divorce, Them recently often went to his ex-wife's workplace to try to win back their relationship, hoping she would come back to take care of their child together.

After many times of not being accepted, Them developed hatred and intended to kill the person who had been his bed partner and then commit suicide. He prepared tape, string... to carry out the plan.

On the afternoon of July 14, Them went to the store where the victim worked opposite Saigon train station. After talking and arguing, he used a rope to strangle his ex-wife until she passed out.

Before leaving, Them left a letter stating that he did not want her to live with another man and that the family should bury them together. In addition, the suspect asked relatives to raise the child and not let the parents' affairs affect the child's psychology.

Them called his ex-wife's mother and asked her to come to the scene and bring her daughter's body back for burial. Returning home, he tried many ways to commit suicide, such as hanging himself, electrocuting himself, and drinking weed killer, but he did not die. At the urging of his family, Them turned himself in to the police.
