The cruel man heartlessly murdered his ex-wife and biological child.

On the afternoon of May 29, the Investigation Police Agency of Dong Phu District (Binh Phuoc) arrested Nguyen Anh Tu (41 years old, residing in Tan Loi Commune, Dong Phu District) to investigate and clarify the act of murder.

At around 6am the same day, receiving a report from Tan Loi Commune Police about a particularly serious murder case, Dong Phu District Police quickly arrived to block off the scene and arrest the perpetrator.

Initially, the police determined that on the evening of May 28, due to wanting to hold on to his ex-wife after the divorce, Tu and Ms. Mai Thi Anh Nhu (37 years old) had a conflict with each other. The two had divorced 2 weeks ago.

At 5:25 a.m. on May 29, out of anger, Tu used an electric baton to shock Ms. Nhu. Then, Tu used a knife to stab and slash Ms. Nhu many times in the head and body, causing serious injuries to the victim.

Seeing that, Tu and Ms. Nhu's son, Nguyen Dong Huy (17 years old), ran to stop them. During the struggle, Tu continued to stab Huy in the stomach, seriously injuring him.

Afterwards, relatives took Ms. Nhu and Huy to the emergency room at Thanh Tam Hospital (Dong Xoai town) in critical condition. Due to severe injuries, Ms. Nhu and her son died.

As for Tu, after committing the crime, he fled the scene. Through investigation, Dong Phu District Police arrested Tu in Dong C Hamlet, Tan Hoa Commune, Dong Phu District and brought him to the police headquarters for questioning.
