The rookie "asks for a job" from coach Amorim to rescue Man United's attack
Manchester United are in dire need of attacking reinforcements, and a former striker who was highly praised by Sir Alex Ferguson has offered to help.

Federico Macheda, who scored the crucial goal that brought the Premier League title to MU, is ready to return to Old Trafford to "carry the team" if coach Ruben Amorim needs him.
Amorim is struggling with a lack of attacking options. United loaned out both Antony and Marcus Rashford in January without replacing them, and Amad Diallo's injury has only made matters worse. More worryingly, Amorim cannot enter the transfer market until the summer.
In that context, former striker Federico Macheda, who played for Man United under Sir Alex Ferguson, has offered his services, even if only in some small matches.
Federico Macheda signed for Man United at the age of 16 and scored on his debut. His goal from the bench in a 2-1 win over Aston Villa in April 2009 helped United win the Premier League that season. Sir Alex Ferguson even commented that Macheda's finishing skills were better than Cristiano Ronaldo's.
However, Macheda's Old Trafford career was short-lived, scoring just four more goals for the club and leaving Man United in 2014. Since then, he has played for clubs in various European countries.
The 33-year-old currently plays in the Greek Super League for Asteros Tripolis, where he has scored six goals in 18 games this season.
Speaking to The Sun, Macheda said: "At 33? I think I can play there (at Man United). Yes. Do better than before? I don't know. I have to say it's not easy to play for Man United now. But I think I can still play there."
"Personally I like Zirkzee and Hojlund. The club is under pressure. It's not easy for any striker, even if you put Lewandowski in the team."
"But as a player, I can see myself playing there now. A few games if Ruben Amorim needs me! I know the level of the Premier League. It's very difficult but I can play there. Why not?"
Macheda's offer will certainly bring back fond memories of the past for Man United fans. However, whether coach Amorim will accept the former "rookie" to solve the problem of the attack line or not, is still an open question.
