After breaking into the living room, the thief saw the family altar and bowed solemnly three times. Then he went into the bedroom to steal the property.

On January 15, Thu Dau Mot City Police, Binh Duong Province investigated and arrested a suspect who broke into the house of Mr. Nguyen The Phuong (Hiep Thanh Ward, Thu Dau Mot City) and took away 1 phone, 1 tablet, 5 million VND and a bunch of car keys.

The theft happened at around 3am on January 12. It is worth mentioning that this thief is very strange. The camera at Mr. Phuong's house shows that after opening the living room door, the thief saw the altar, clasped his hands, and solemnly bowed three times.

The thief stood solemnly and bowed to the family altar three times.

After praying, the man cautiously opened the living room door wide and drove his motorbike near the door. Mr. Phuong said the thief even dared to go into his bedroom to take his phone which he placed near his bed.

While he was fumbling around in the living room, the thief made a noise. Mr. Phuong's mother woke up and went to see. Seeing that, the thief hid under the altar. She saw the door wide open and ran in to alert the police, but the thief ran away on foot.

The camera shows that while searching for the property, the thief also bowed to the altar. Mr. Phuong said that this altar was dedicated to his ancestors. "I lost something but honestly, when I looked at the camera again, I laughed so much. I don't understand why the thief kept bowing like that."

A source said that this subject had committed many robberies in Hiep Thanh ward. The police determined that this subject looked very similar to a person with a criminal record.
